No! Oh, The Gay Bed and Breakfast of Terror is just tooooooooo horrible!

You see, Helen (Mari Marks) and Luella (Georgia Jean) are just another badly dressed fundamentalist mother and daughter duo who happen to bake suspiciously pork-flavoured (…) Mincemeat muffins and run a slightly Bates Motelesque Bed and Breakfast Inn, the Sahara Salvation Inn. Or are they?

Slightly before the biggest gay party weekend of the year,  five lesbian and gay ‘couples’ find themselves having to take accommodation some distance away from the city. Dom and Alex are the ‘performers’ (Vinny Markus & Michael Soldier), while Deborah and Gabby are sophisticated, entrepreneurial ‘lipstick’ lesbians (Shannon Lee & Denise Heller). Mike and Eric are a  ’yuppie’ power couple (Derek Long & Robert Borzych). Unfortunately, there’s also their annoying ‘fag-hag’ friend, Lizette (Lisa Block-Wieser).

Starr and Brenda are an odd couple- a declining folk singer and tough-talking tomboy (Hilary Schwartz & Allie Rivenbark). Rodney and Todd are a ‘cougar’ and his (…) ‘personal trainer’ (Jim Polivka & James Tolins). Instead of celebrating at the largest gay party weekend of the year, events become convoluted into every gay and lesbian’s worst nightmare (apart from Sarah Palin as President, that is).  

Even if it’s advertised as  ”a small slice of paradise here in the desert“, the guests realise (and some too late!) that The Sahara Salvation is not all it appears to be!
